Safety in a 24 hour gym is not just a good idea, its necessary

Of course what 24 hour gym would be complete without security cameras. We installed these bad boys throughout the gym and on the exterior of the building so we can spy on our members… haha, Just kidding. No, we obviously want to ensure that all of our members stay safe no matter if you get there at 3 am or 3 pm. We have you guys covered.

Whether you’re a single male, single female or group, your safety is our number one concern before anything else. The security cameras and footage are monitored by our management team to ensure everything’s going how it should be.

How many cameras in your 24 hour Gym here in SCV?

So when you visit our gym you’ll notice we have 8 high-definition cameras that cover just about every part of the gym and the exterior parking lot. Thats 6 inside and 2 outside showing both sides of the parking lot. So lets say its 2 am and you wanna head to your car after a hard workout.. you can view the monitor set up on the front counter before you even leave the safety of the building. Once I have a membership/day pass, how do I get into the gym?

Great question…. Mazzaz private gym utilizes either a key fob or your phone to gain access. We feel that with a 24 hour access gym, this is the best and safest way to keep our members safe and secure no matter what the time day or night. After you enter, the door will automatically lock behind you. We have a gym app that gains you access with your membership ID. As a member you can choose either method or both.. We don’t care, key fobs are like a buck… no big.

Phone access to your Santa Clarita 24 hour gym

No matter a day pass or membership we have you create an account with us through the Gym Master website. This is so that you can gain 24 hour access to Mazzaz Gym. To do that, you download the Gym master app once signed up and you are automatically assigned a bluetooth key tag. Now you have phone access to enjoy your new private and low-crowd gym whenever you want.

Key fob access

If you prefer a physical key fob to put on your keychain or gym bag, we can also hook you up with one of those for $5. The key fob access works the exact same as the phone, but could be faster if your hands are full or you’re on the phone.

Our Gym Has Heating and Air Conditioning

Mazzaz 24 hour gym here in Santa Clarita has both heating and air conditioning for complete comfort. Yes, we have both heating and air condoning. So in the summer when it’s 110 degrees outside, rest assured it’s gonna be nice and cool in the gym for training. And, of course we have central heat just in case it gets chilly which if you live in Santa Clarita you know it rarely gets cooler than 70. Haha, okay, it gets cooler than that but regardless, we have you covered.

Our Cleanliness and Maintenance:

We have paper towels and disinfectant located on top of all of our trash cans. The gymnasium area, lobby, and bathroom are cleaned and looked after daily. We are supplied with professional disinfectants to ensure proper cleanliness. We think having a clean gym is important not only because it minimizes illnesses and odors, but also because it helps with focus and shows that we care about the gym and its members.

How often is it cleaned?

The gym is cleaned daily in a cycle, since we are such a small team we can’t do it all at once. Of course it’s a 24 our facility so there is no staff there in case you make a mess so obviously try your best to clean it up as much as you can.

Equipment Availability

Mazzaz gym has a limited member count of 30. You know what that means? No people hogging up your machines. That means you can do circuit training with no interruptions. We have hand-picked state of the art equipment and multiple machines for each body part. There is an endless amount of variety that comes with working out here especially with it being a 24 hour gym.

We have so many attachments you’ll want to try them all. Multiple cardio machines and multiple mats for stretching (you really should stretch more often.) Even at “peak” hours you still will have an empty gym to do your thing in.

Variety in equipment

You can check out our list of equipment under the home tab on our website. Downstairs we have multiple pieces of equipment for each body part. In the barbell area we have 1-100 on both the left and the right side so you don’t have to cross over anybody to put the weights back. Upstairs we have abs, glutes, and cardio.

Why is it important to have so much variety in equipment?

Don’t you hate when you go to a big box gym & you want to super set, but can’t because some idiot is sitting on a machine you need and won’t get off? Another thing to note is that having multiple ways to work the same body part maximizes your ability to build muscle. Having variety in equipment helps with hitting your muscles with different angles, techniques, and resistance, which ultimately prolongs plateaus. Sometimes you just get plain old sick of the same workout every time. At Mazzaz you’ll never know what your next move will be because you’ll want to try it all.

You can play your Own music

At Mazzaz gym, we’re all about letting you do your thing, so feel free to step up and be the Dj while you’re there! We don’t care if you want to take over the music, but here’s the kicker- if you’re not alone do everyone a favor and use your best judgment… basically try to make sure the music doesn’t totally suck. Keep in mind that no one is here to lift heavy-ass weights to that experimental kazoo playlist (yea it’s a thing).
